Anne and I hope that those of you who participated in last year’s FoCA trip to Germany and our Rhine & Mosel River cruise had a great time (I know we did). Also, I’m sure that all of you will agree that our riverboat, the Premicon Queen, was about as deluxe as you could get. Anne and I loved it!
As always, after a great FoCA trip, Anne and I have to come up with the next great FoCA trip, which is not as easy as you may think. I seem to get the best visions as to where we should go when I eat and drink. It also seems the more I drink, the clearer my vision gets. So, on your behalf, I “hit it hard” just to be sure that I was getting the best “vision” for our very special 2012 trip. And what do you know? Voila!...it worked!
My vision guided me to one of the most beautiful, unspoiled countries on the Mediterranean Sea, boasting one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline on the European Continent with almost 4,000 miles of shoreline, beautiful reefs, dramatic cliffs and over 1,000 islands. Where is this “most wonderful” place you ask? It is…CROATIA! The Mediterranean at its finest and the Mediterranean as it once was.
Anne and I have put together a wonderful 4 night stay in the city of Split (including a full day excursion to the beautiful island of Hvar), and 4 nights in Dubrovnik, Croatia’s most historic and picturesque city. Check out the day-by-day itinerary for detailed information regarding our accommodations, sightseeing tours, dining (and drinking) adventures and much more.
As always, please feel free to invite any of your friends that you think might be interested in joining us. We’re always interested in meeting and making new friends! Anne and I hope that you can join us on our 5th annual FoCA adventure because it is going to truly be a very special, very memorable trip! As always, please feel free to call us at anytime (including evenings and weekends) with any questions that you may have.
So come on you FoCAs and sign up for our 2012 party on the Mediterranean…it’s going to be a great one! -- Carl & Anne
IMPORTANT: Our 2012 trip is based on a maximum of 32 participants and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make your reservations ASAP to make sure you don’t miss this historical, exciting trip!
