Greetings everyone!
Anne and I hope that you are doing well and you are ready for your next FoCA adventure! For all of you FoCA’s that went to Argentina with us on our 2010 trip last November, Anne and I want to thank you for your participation and friendship. We think that you will agree that Argentina is a special country with wonderful people, sightseeing, food and of course, wonderful wine! Speaking of the food and wine, which most of us consumed copious amounts of (you know who you are), I’m still eating Tums and drinking Pepto-Bismol. My doctor said that my cholesterol level and blood pressure should be back to normal by this summer…just in time for our next trip!
Speaking of our next trip… Anne and I decided that this year’s theme should be a C &W cruise. No, not Country & Western – Castles & Wine! And we can guarantee that you will have plenty of both during your seven day cruise on the ultra deluxe riverboat, the Premicon Queen. The Premicon Queen is one of the premier riverboats in all of Europe and is the most beautiful riverboat that I have ever been on. Wait until you see it! The cruise is sailing from Dusseldorf, Germany, down the Rhine and Moselle Rivers visiting all of the best wine towns and villages along the way. It's a photographer’s (and wino’s…you know who you are) heaven. Please understand, this is a very special cruise on a very deluxe boat and NOT typical of the riverboats cruising the rivers of Europe (…the ones the common folk take).
