Anne and I hope that those of you who participated in last year’s FoCA trip to Asia had a wonderful time and came home with many wonderful memories. It was a true adventure for sure! For our 2019 FoCA trip, we are very happy to announce that the trip this year will be a bit more “mellow” but equally as exciting and picturesque. This year’s special trip will be to one of Europe’s most popular countries…majestic Switzerland!
What makes this year’s tour so special is that we will be visiting two of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland; the Swiss Italian Alps and the Swiss French Alps. Our first stay will be in Ascona, which is in the Swiss Italian Alps region and our second stay will be in Lausanne, located in the Swiss French Alps region. Both give you the best of what Europe has to offer…good food, great wine & beer, deluxe accommodations and amazing panoramic vistas!
Our program will include four nights in Ascona at the classic Giardino Ascona Hotel and five nights at the equally classic Lausanne Palace Hotel. As usual on our tours, we leave several evenings open for you to have dinner at your leisure and give you an opportunity to search out the best dining venues in Ascona and Lausanne. Both hotels are in great locations and are surrounded by everything from street food stands, quaint bistros, charming restaurants and exciting nightspots. Rejoice “Foodies”…this tour is for you!!
