Greece

A personal note from Carl…

Regarding the day-by-day itinerary, here are a few personal notes: Internet link descriptions of hotels and sightseeing destinations - In order to save you from having to type in all of the links that I am giving you in the day-by-day itinerary presented below, I will send you, via a separate e-mail, the live links to the hotels and sightseeing destinations. You can click on the links in the e-mail and they will take you directly to that particular site which will give you loads of information and descriptions. Feel free to do additional searches, or contact me, if you have a particular question or want more information.

Meals - Breakfast is included daily throughout the tour. I have also added dinner each night at our stay in Rhodes and Kalambaka because it is a very good value for the modest additional cost. The food at the hotels in Rhodes and Kalambaka is excellent (great Greek chefs at each hotel) and dining there will give you the opportunity to enjoy these deluxe properties even more. However, you have the option (at your expense) to dine at any of the many fine restaurants that are in abundance in both Rhodes and Kalambaka should you want a special “night on the town.”

Marmaris, Turkey and Symi Island, Greece - Neither Anne nor I have visited the destinations of Marmaris or Symi Island, so there’s nothing that we can personally add to the tour description for those two days. BUT, our good Greek friends have told us about these special places for years and have always wanted us to visit them but we never took time (as usual) to do it. So finally we are…thanks to you!

Day-by-day commentary - I am leaving out a lot of the colorful commentary that is usually found in the day-by-day itineraries. The online links will give you much more information (and colorful commentary) about the different places that we are going to visit than I can.

Trust us…you’re going to love this trip! – If you have ever dreamed of going to Greece, but have never made it, then this is your chance to fulfill that dream. If you have visited Greece, but only on a cruise (like Anne and me), then you are in for a real treat!

Reserve your space now! - The trip is based on a minimum of 20 participants and a maximum of 30 participants and is on a first come, first served basis.
